“There was a time when I had to tell myself to stop and make it a point to embrace myself, and my flaws, no matter what size I am and what people may say,” the Chhalawa actress Zara Noor Abbas said regarding the heated debate going on about body shaming.

The plus size actress also added that negativity of body shaming has never stopped her from being who she is.

The actress of Pakistan’s drama serials popularity ‘Khamoshi’ & Deewar e Shab opened up about how she is being trolled by a whole lot from her native industry i.e. showbiz and media in Pakistan in an interview given earlier to an International Channel.

Zara Noor Abbas Siddqi, 28 years of age has been the target of hordes of people where her size is concerned and on top of that her wearing jeans and sleeveless. This trolling has been going on some time now till finally the actress expressed her point of view on Insatgram, posting comparative pictures captioning them ‘too Big and Broad’ that had been photoshoped showing how her shoots are made to look her slimmer.

The star of myriads of showbiz and media projects also stated that when asked to get liposuction and body trimming procedures she felt very hurt. That she felt was criticism. Being like she is, she wants to remain happy with it.

Celebs who are petite like Mehwish Hayat, Hania Aamir and male actor Azfar Rehman from the always-happening field of showbiz and media came to her support along-with Asad Siddqui her husband.

We have seen similar debates in the western world a few decades ago and the acceptance of plus sized actresses and models took place duly in various capacities.

Do you agree? We would be delighted to hear from you.
