Following up with the successful series of events in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Eat Food Festivals in 2017, Pakistan’s favourite food platform ‘EAT’ Karachi Eat Festival ends on a high note with Atif Aslam at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park.
The brain child of CKO Event Architecture, now in its fifth year running this annual event has become the largest food Festival in the country and draws in a crowd of over 300,000 people in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Eat festivals focus on details which no other festival would consider. The purpose behind it is of course to create an experience which is as inclusive as possible whilst maintaining the original concept.
Consisting of 125 Kiosks representing more than 7 different kinds of cuisines that include Parsi, Mexican, Sri Lankan, Middle Eastern, Thai, Chinese, Swiss, South Indian and more, Karachi Eat also hosted leading hospitality institute COTHAM showcased their Taste Studio consisting of local chefs with live demos. Additionally Pakistan’s leading talents Aaroh and Atif Aslam performed. Bringing the art of painting to the common man, Easel Bay set up easels around the venue providing painting material (Canvases, paints etc) for children and adults to bring their creativity.
Indeed, the EAT is an annual food festival built around the idea of creating a common platform in a Public Space for people who love food. From the most creative and talented chefs to the street vendors, the EAT is a festival which celebrates the full diversity of food that the cities has to offer.
