Bold Men Awards 2017 completely changed the awards game in Pakistan. With its categories like best comedian, best anchor, best sportsman and best designer etc, the Awards recognized the hard-work of many charismatic, skilled and stylish individuals. Following its huge success, Hilal Care Pvt. Ltd. is bringing Bold Men Awards 2018 bigger and better this year. What is Bold Men Awards? Please tell us in detail.
Bold Men Awards is an initiative to celebrate individuals who make Pakistan proud. The platform was founded last year, i.e. 2017, to recognize the efforts of individuals contributing to the growth of our nation in mostly unsung categories. We’ve introduced new categories like Bold Host, Bold Sportsman of the Year, Bold Hero, and Bold Internet Sensation etc. which have never been there before.
How and when did you come up with this unique idea?
We came up with this idea in 2017. The passion to do something new in the field of Awards and the passion to do something to recognize the unsung heroes of Pakistan combined and gave birth to Bold Men Awards. Bold Men Awards is all about individuals who are representing a kind and stylish image of Pakistan to the world. We have an insane amount of talented people in our country and I believe it is very important to acknowledge every one of them. With the success of Bold Men Awards in the public, we hope to take these awards on ground in future. We are also planning to bring more categories to the awards each year like food, travel, books, and technology’
Who in your opinion is the Bold Man?
Every man who has made Pakistan proud with his talent and hard-work.
What is the criterion for making it to the Bold Men’s list?
There is no criterion to make it to the Bold Men’s list. One just has to make Pakistan proud.
Who are the nominees for this year’s Bold Men Awards?
The nominees for Bold Designer are Amir Adnan, HSY, and Humayun Alamgir. Those for Bold Film Actor are Ali Rehman, Osman Khalid Butt, and Gohar Rasheed. For Bold Most Stylish Sports Personality are Aisam Ul Haq, Amir Khan, and Shoaib Malik. The nominees for Bold Anchor are Wasim Badami, Abdullah Sultan, and Kashif Abbasi. For the category of Bold Model are Shahzad Noor, Omer Shahzad, and Hasnain Lehri. For Bold Cricketer, the nominees are Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, and Sarfaraz Ahmed. For Bold RJ are Dino Ali, Khalid Malik, and Tapu Javeri. Those for Bold Host are Fahad Mustafa, Faysal Qureshi, and Azfer Rehman. For the category of Bold Film Director, the nominees Nadeem Baig, Nabeel Qureshi, and Mohsin Ali. For Bold Internet Sensation, the nominees are Moroo, Irfan Junejo, and Rahim Pardesi. For Bold Fitness Trainer are Mustafa Totana, Bilal Munir, and Idrees. For Bold Singer, the nominees are Asim Azhar, Ali Sethi, and Qurram. For the category Bold Most Comical are Akbar Chaudhary, Junaid Akram, and Zaid Ali. And last, but not the least, for the category of Bold TV Actor, the nominees are Muneeb Butt, Shahzad Sheikh, and Zahid Ahmed.
