The gorgeous Meera Ansari recently walked the ramp with her legendary mom Bushra Ansari at the 16th edition of Pantene Hum Bridal Couture Week 2018. Darling of the masses, the mother-daughter duo have made many an appearance on various fashionable fronts. And this time was no different. “I enjoy taking stage with my mother. This time was no different. I have made appearances with her previously and I always enjoy such an occasion,” shares Meera. “BCW was a lot of fun and it was nice to see some fresh new designers/talent coming up. Its important to support newcomers also and we were proud to walk for Ansab Jehangir.”

It all started for Meera when she was a teenager. “I got my portfolio done by Athar Shahzad and started getting modelling assignments. I started my career as a TVC model and did Ads for all the major brands. Then I graduated on to print Ads but my focus had always been on TVCs and modelling for campaigns,” she reveals.

Meera’s inspiration in fashion had forever been “Vaneeza aka Vinne. Vinnie was big in those days, she was the tops and I always looked up to her. For me modelling has been an interesting journey.”

Was she enamoured by her mother, the legendary Bushra Ansari’s choice of career that she opted for this field. “My mother was an actor and I chose modelling. These are two different things. I had previously been focusing on modelling but now I might be graduating on to acting.” Here’s wishing this beautiful girl the very best for all her future endeavours!
