Online retail store Fashsouq.com sponsored a gala for boxing legend Mike Tyson as he launched his boxing academy in Dubai. The Gala, hosted on Saturday, May 6th included Pakistani celebrities Momina Muhtehsan and Ayesha Omar among guests. Boxer Amir Khan also attended the event.

Dubai-based e-commerce site, Fashsouq.com launched earlier this year in February. The website focuses on selling western designer and high street brands to the Pakistani market. They source western brands from the UAE as well as across the world. Beauty brands such as Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beverly Hills, YSL Cosmetics, Benefit Cosmetics, Kylie Cosmetics and Beautyblender are among many available through their site. Brands such as Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Zara, Massimo Dutti and H&Mcan also be bought through their website.

Founder and CEO of fashsouq.com, Ali Ahmed was one of the main organisers of the gala. He said, “For many years Pakistan has been overlooked, being from Pakistan myself I know the need and the passion people have for fashion. As there is no official or professional provider we aim to be the pioneer of the market and give the people what they want.”
