Red Bull Music SoundClash wow-ed us yet again with an amazing lineup and brought together the Pop icon, Strings and the Rock superstar, Ali Azmat in an epic clash of pop vs rock. This event took place on the 8th of December at Karachi Gym Khana and was definitely a night to remember! It was a once-in-a-lifetime live musical experience that brought two bands from different genres, styles and influences together under one roof, to compete for an arena full of fans. The bands were set up on opposite stages, each group took their turns to demonstrate their unique skill sets and improvised grooves to win the heart of their fans.

Faizan Haque hosted the show and got the crowd super hyped up and enjoyed the interaction and excitement from their end. This was the much awaited SoundClash of the year and one of the biggest globally held concert. The crowd sang along, often completed the chorus and there was only love for music that oozed out from their screams, chants and unstoppable applause. It was history in the making as we saw the crowd enjoying to the fullest with their phone’s up in the air and constant flashes lighting up the space!

Four rounds, two stages, and one crowd. Which band will be defeated? Which one will leave victorious? These were the questions making rounds and the audience had to make the decision. There was an applause meter after every round to gauge which genre was in the lead, a wild card entry from each side of the genre; Ahmed Jahanzeb from Pop and Call the Band from Rock that took place after the clash. The finale happened right after the wild card entry performances and man did it blow us away, these superstars are the real deal!
Faisal Khan, Country Manager Pakistan comments, “I was pleasantly surprised at how the tickets were sold out two days before the concert! That was surely one of the achievements. The youngsters’ response at the event was rather overwhelming and surely our efforts in putting this event together paid off. A big shout-out to the whole team for their efforts!”

The show ended on a very positive note as the audience decided the winner of the Red Bull Music SoundClash was neither Pop or Rock but music in its entirety. How lovely is that?
We were totally aligned with the decision made by the audience and will cherish this day until their next concert. Thank you Red Bull for this amazing lineup, we are looking forward to the next big thing!
